The Standard

One visit. One diagnosis. Fixed once.

Static pressure. Airflow. Refrigerant state. Combustion. Duct leakage. The numbers find the real problem — so you don’t pay for the same repair twice.

Diagnostic First

We measure airflow, static pressure, refrigerant state, and combustion before naming a fix.

Whole-Home Systems

Equipment, ducts, envelope, controls, occupants. We diagnose the system — not the failed part.

Verified Installs

Manual J load calc, ACCA Standard 5 commissioning, written report before invoice.

Documented Results

Every measurement recorded. Every recommendation written. You see the work.

Standards we hold ourselves to

We perform to standards.

We don't ask you to take our word for it. We measure every job against published standards and put the numbers in writing.

Manual J on every replacement

Right-sized equipment, calculated to the home — never to the existing unit.

ACCA Standard 5 commissioning

Every installation verified against the published industry standard before we close the job.

Static pressure & airflow documented

Numbers on the report for every service call — no guessing about what the system is actually doing.

EPA-certified refrigerant handling

Refrigerant recovered, weighed, and logged. No venting. No shortcuts.

Independent engineering review

Every Manual J, Manual S, and Manual D calculation gets a second set of eyes before the quote.

What we hand you

This is what a measurement actually looks like.

Every evaluation ends in a written Home Comfort Report: what we measured, what it should have read, and what to do about it in priority order. Three readings from one of them —

Total external static pressure

0.82″ wc

Target ≤ 0.50″ wc

High

Delivered airflow (3-ton system)

880 CFM

Target ≈ 1,200 CFM

Low

Temperature split, return to supply

23°F

Target 18–20°F

High

Readings from a representative example home — not a customer job.

First we measure. Then we fix.

A technician without instruments isn’t diagnosing — they’re just guessing.

Most companies replace parts and hope. We show up with manometers, manifold gauges, IR cameras, combustion analyzers — because the equipment is only half the job. The system around it is the rest.

Common questions

Questions homeowners ask before they call.

Isn’t a paid diagnostic just a different sales pitch?
The incentive runs the other way. We're paid for the measurement and the report, not by what you buy afterward — and the report is yours either way. If the honest answer is that nothing is worth fixing yet, that's what the report says.
Will you push a replacement before fixing it?
No. A documented repair is usually the right call on equipment with years left in it, and we'll tell you when that's the case. When replacement genuinely makes more sense, we run a Manual J load calculation and show you the numbers before you decide anything.
Why won’t anyone give me a repair price over the phone?
Because the price depends on the cause, and the cause can't be known over the phone. A dozen different failures produce the same warm-air complaint. Any phone price is either a guess or a teaser rate that changes once someone is in your driveway. What we can tell you up front: the diagnostic is paid, instrument-based, and ends with a written report — and we'll go over the fee when you call.
Are you licensed and insured?
TN CMC-C Contractor License #86044, Chattanooga Master Mechanical License #LMM-1295, bonded, insured, EPA Section 608 certified, and NATE certified. Veteran-owned and owner-operated by Russell and Yavonda.
Do you finance new systems?
Yes — financing is available on jobs over $500. We don't lead the conversation with financing, but it's there when a replacement is the right move and you'd rather spread the payment over time.

Start with a measurement

Comfort.Done Right.

A 1–2 hour evaluation gives you a documented picture of how your air conditioning system actually performs — and what it will take to fix it.

And once it’s fixed, the Comfort Club keeps it that way — measured twice a year.
